Of all the water fountains in KC, my favorite is the Concourse Fountain. When I was a kid it was a pool style fountain that the neighborhood kids would wade in during the summer.  As fun as this sounds, as always some people can ruin the fun for others. In this case people would break glass in the pool making it dangerous to wade in.

I had not been in the area for many years and was in the old neighborhood one day and went by the old fountain to find that they had remodeled the fountain and took the pool out and made it a fountain that you can walk through, as the water sprays in the air.

I liked how they had changed it, made it more safer to play in but miss how it used to be. Just a reminder that everything changes over time.
